Shlomit began her business making scarves and soon expanded into Judaica items and apparel. Nowadays she runs Galilee Silks together with designer Hadar Zaks, and the company employs 20 women. The company prides itself on its environmentally friendly production and cooperative work environment. The kibbutz based studio includes workers from nearby Arab villages and immigrants.
